BAT WALK CANCELLED
Due to a grim weather forecast tonight’s BAT WALK has been cancelled.
But there is another one scheduled for Sepember 6, so keep an eye on the site for details.
Quiz On The Hill #2 A Success!
Our Second Quiz on the Hill held at Shrewsbury House last night (9/11/18) was even better than the first held in February.
Quizmasters Geoff and Dee set the bar very high and caught us out with some fiendishly clever questions. From ‘cats and other animals’ to ‘news this week’ they kept us on our toes.
The winners after eight rounds were Team MSP who received some mini bottles of red, and looked delighted!
The scoreboard at the end of the evening looked a bit like this:
We look forward to the next quiz, so watch out MSP, we’re after your crown!
We’ll let you know how much we raised through the tickets and raffle when we have added it all up.

Welcome to our Space Station! Train to be an astronaut, make your own rocket, colour and LIFT OFF! Ready Steady Lift Off! is an immersive theatre show for 3-8 year olds and their families combining live performance, music, storytelling and painting into one interactive theatre show.
Ready Steady Lift Off! invites you the audience to take part in our colourful astronaut programme. Come and navigate, sing, colour and play your way through the 7 stages of training, from working as a team in a space station to piloting your own rocket around our galaxy.
This immersive experience will get the family colouring and creating together, and once you’ve decorated your rocket, you will orbit around space meeting strange creatures and overcoming some cosmic catastrophes, all in a days work for the LIFT OFF team! Finally fly your rocket home!
BOOKING
Shows are FREE but booking is essential. The show is for children aged 3 – 8 (strictly no under 3’s allowed) and all children must be supervised by a parent/guardian. To book please follow the below link…

Fabulous Park Festival!
The Summer Festival Frolics came together with the weather and so many friends and neighbours for a Grand Day Out! And our fountain was officially opened by Councillor Danny Thorpe and Pearly Queen Gwen Jones.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who contributed time, ideas, stalls, muscle, dogs, sweat, donations, photos and most of all your good will. The Management Committee was happy to see a growing participation in this annual event and look forward to more next year.
