Friends of Shrewsbury Park Summer Festival 2015

Our annual summer festival in June 2015 helped us raise over £500 which will go towards the drinking water fountain (we are over half way towards raising the funds).

We would like to thank all the people who made our Summer Festival successful, the people providing our events, the stall holders, and all the Friends who supported us.

The feedback we received showed that everyone (except 2 people) who completed the form enjoyed the Festival. The 2 people who wrote negative comments complained that there was only one dance group. This was because one of the dance groups backed out after our publicity was printed, and the other group failed to turn up on the day (as did a number of the stall holders due to the initial bad weather).

We are planning our Summer Festival for 2016 and this year we will hold two days of events, our Summer Festival will be on Saturday 11th June, and our Dog Show on Sunday 12th June. The Summer Festival will have dance, song and theatre, the Dog Show will have all things dogs. We will be contacting our members for help, and hope you will be able to attend both.
