Thanks to all who attended and those who made it happen – the Summer Festival was a hit once again. We’ve got a glowing report to submit to Royal Borough of Greenwich for the Parksfest grant.

As Chair I would like to warmly thank the Management Committee for their endless enthusiasm, ideas and follow through on the plan: Julie Hayward, Sue Walker (sec’y), Rob Hurst (treas), Roy Williams, John Wadsworth and Alan Deacon.

And thank you to the fabulous team of volunteers who supported set up, troubleshooting and take down on the day.

A vibrant variety of stalls, entertainment and activities drew lots of local people – and many stayed the afternoon at the grand picnic event. We met old friends, made new friends, shared park project ideas and generally had fun together. Prime objective met!
