Thank you one and all! | Friends of Shrewsbury Park

The FSP Fundraising Quiz on 9 October raised the impressive amount of £531.50, a combination of ticket sales and raffle takings. Julie and Rob of the Committee did a great job of planning and whipping up the raffle prizes.

We would like to extend special thanks to Kate Halpin, our Very Able Quiz Presenter, for organising the rounds, scoring and providing several bonus prizes to keep the winners and losers sweet. Questions ranged from dog breed identification to a fiendishly tricky music intro round.

We would also like to thank our partners at Shrewsbury House who generously gave us the library rent-free in exchange for all the bar takings on the night. It was a really fun night of ‘community spirit’ – which, along with the funds, will benefit the Shrewsbury Park we all share.

Thank you for supporting this and hope to see you at a future activity – AND the AGM coming in January.
